Jorund Redd was a male Human who made his home on the desert planet of Tatooine during the era of the Galactic Civil War.
After the Battle of Yavin, Jorund Redd took up residence in Mos Eisley. He maintained connections with individuals within the Rebel Alliance and communicated with Droma Ordo who was located in Anchorhead.
During 1 ABY, Redd, along with a woman by the name of Escara Frei, found themselves caught in the middle of a conflict in Mos Eisley. This conflict was between the guards of Lady Valarian and the thugs employed by Jabba the Hutt. Redd suffered a severe blow to the head, leading to a rapid decline in his health. Billingsly, the 2-1B droid, dispatched a medic to assist Administrator Nillika and the local medical personnel. As the medic began to examine Redd in order to provide treatment, they were ambushed by thieves dispatched by Kavas Urdano, an aide to Valarian. The medic successfully defended against the thieves, eliminating both of them, and proceeded to tend to Redd's injuries. Following this, Redd suggested that the medic consider contacting Droma Ordo to potentially work for the Alliance.
Within the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, Jorund Redd was featured as a non-player character. This game was a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game created by Sony Online Entertainment and brought to the public by LucasArts, before the game was shut down on December 15, 2011. Jorund Redd was integrated into the game with the release of "Publish 25", also known as the "New Game Enhancements," on November 15, 2005.
As part of the introductory quest titled "Caught in the Crossfire," Jorund Redd could be located in Mos Eisley for players who chose the Medic profession. The quest was assigned to the player by Billingsly, and the player's only objective was to speak with Redd in order to administer treatment to his injuries. Immediately after his injuries were treated, the player was attacked by two thief NPCs, accompanied by a communication from Kavas Urdano warning them to stay out of Valarian's affairs.
