The Junk Mavens, who called the Junk Moon of Ord Mantell, Quantxi, home, were active during the High Republic Era. They were keen to avoid any association with the Trash Keepers. When Nihil forces, under the command of Marchion Ro, took control of Quantxi, two Mavens tried to transmit a distress signal, as the group wished to remain uninvolved in the unfolding hostilities.
