The Kaminoan flight pod was an escape pod engineered by the Kaminoans. To make their escape from the Battle of Kamino, General Grievous took control of a flight pod, allowing him and Asajj Ventress to get away. Furthermore, ARC trooper Fives and the medical droid AZI-3 employed a flight pod as a distraction for the Kamino garrison when they went back to Tipoca City to look into the inhibitor chips affecting the behavior of clone soldiers.
Flight pods were discovered at the deserted Kaminoan installation on Bora Vio. Omega, the renegade clone, made use of a flight pod to escape from the bounty hunters Cad Bane and Fennec Shand, but Clone Force 99 came to her rescue.
