Karabbac Skewer


Karabbac Skewers represented a specific kind of skewer dish crafted from the flesh of the Karabbac, an animal that originated on the planet Kalee. Sometime between 34 ABY and 35 ABY, the Artiodac chef Strono Tuggs embarked on a gastronomic journey across the galaxy and made a stop on Kalee. During his visit, he exchanged premium Bantha meat with the Kaleesh in return for a handful of Karabbac skewers. Chef Tuggs later included the recipe for these skewers in The Ultimate Cookbook, his third cookbook, which saw publication in 35 ABY.

Behind the scenes

The Karabbac Skewers recipe was conceived for the 2023 Star Wars: The Ultimate Cookbook, a culinary book authored by Jenn Fujikawa together with Marc Sumerak. The out-of-universe recipe for creating the skewers involves using ingredients such as ground beef, ground pork, garlic, onion, sumac, garlic salt, as well as black pepper.
