Katei Elinari Panteer was an Alderaanian female Human who, subsequent to the demise of Queen Silara Panteer amidst the Cold War fought between the Galactic Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire, survived as a member of House Panteer and held the title of Princess. After the actions of Bouris Ulgo, the self-proclaimed king, Katei was viewed as the most probable successor to the queen.
It was discovered that the Panteer survivors had taken refuge in the mountains during the Cold War, and Katei Panteer maintained communication with Bradel, a Commander in the Galactic Republic. At this time, she gave a traveling hero of the Republic the assignment to kill Bouris Ulgo, although Bradel pushed for the capture of the usurper for a formal trial.
