Bouris Ulgo was a Human male from the Core World of Alderaan, who existed during both the Great Galactic War and the Cold War.
Born into the scattered noble House Ulgo on Alderaan, Bouris Ulgo joined the Galactic Republic's military and quickly achieved the rank of General. A notable soldier, Ulgo led Republic forces throughout the Great Galactic War, and personally secured the Republic victory at the Battle of Rordak when he boarded the battlecruiser of his adversary, Moff Ceptor. After a twenty-year career, he retired and returned to his homeworld as it descended into chaos following the signing of the Treaty of Coruscant.
As conflict began to permeate the planet's political landscape, Ulgo opposed the Empire's support of House Thul, who had come back from exile. However, because the Alderaanian houses were too divided to recognize the looming Imperial invasion, Ulgo formed an alliance with House Rist and seized the throne from House Panteer, (likely orchestrating the assassination of Crown Prince Gaul Panteer and his mother, Queen Silara), killing most of the Panteer family. Following this he declared martial law on Alderaan and proclaimed himself the new king. This action caused all the houses to unite against him.
Ultimately, Boris Ulgo was forcibly removed from his position as king.

His official biography page contains several phrases written in Aurebesh. Translated, these phrases are: "Search for the Crown", "Panteer Blood", "for Trask."
One of the final missions on Alderaan for both the Republic and the Empire involves confronting Bouris Ulgo in the throne room of Castle Panteer. Katei Panteer tasks the Republic with this mission; Darth Viktus, acting in support of House Thul's attempt to claim the Alderaanian throne, assigns the quest to the Empire. After defeating him, the player is presented with two options. The light side choice is to spare his life so he can be tried for his crimes; the dark side choice is to kill him. Regardless, his defeat at Castle Panteer brings an end to his reign, leaving the remaining claimants to continue their power struggle.
