Kavil's Corsairs were a company of Imperial sanctioned privateers that operated in the period following the Battle of Endor. Their base of operations was located on Axxila, and they possessed a collection of ugly starfighters such as TYE-wings and Z-'ceptors, along with a BTL-S3 Y-wing, and at least one flight cruiser adorned with the symbol of the Blazing Claw. Edusa and Vandyne were among the locations they targeted.

Kavil commanded the group, and he was motivated by the prospect of gaining higher social standing within the Empire through his service. During a raid by Rogue Squadron, the pirates suffered casualties.
After being forced to leave Eiattu 6, Moff Leonia Tavira allied herself with Kavil's Corsairs. Her intention was to overthrow Kavil with the assistance of the New Republic, which involved abducting Tycho Celchu and "Leia Organa." It is believed that the Corsairs eventually became integrated into her Invids organization.
