Kay Cavarat

Kay Cavarat, a Human female, held the position of Republic Marshall. During the times of the Cold War and the subsequent Galactic War that raged between the Galactic Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire, she served as the primary law enforcement officer at the Belsavis prison.

Biography

During the Cold War and the following Galactic War between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire, Republic Marshall Kay Cavarat found herself stationed on the planet of Belsavis. Her responsibilities included maintaining the overall security of the Belsavis prison, and she reported directly to the Senate Security Committee. She commanded the prison wardens, who oversaw the daily operations of various sections, including minimum, high, and maximum security areas. When the Sith Empire launched an attack force to invade the prison, Cavarat exerted her best efforts to maintain control. Many of her leading wardens were killed, and the guards struggled to contain the prisoners' ongoing riots. Cavarat requested assistance, and Republic troopers from the Republic Special Forces Division were dispatched to restore order and repel the Imperial invasion. Furthermore, she assisted the smuggler known as the Voidhound in locating the escaped Rattataki crime lord named Ivory.

Personality and traits

Marshall Cavarat had a reputation as a stern and uncompromising officer, managing the prison with severe efficiency. She tended to be attracted to "bad boy" types and preferred casual encounters over committed relationships. However, beneath her tough exterior, Cavarat possessed a hidden soft side. She was dedicated to her work and took great satisfaction in incarcerating criminals.
