In the year 11 BBY, Brayl, under the influence of alcohol, started to bother Zaluna Myder, a worker for Transcept Media Solutions, in Gorse City; this led Myder to advise Brayl to return to his spouse and children before deterring him with a blaster.
The 2014 book A New Dawn, authored by John Jackson Miller, included a reference to Ketticus Brayl's wife.
