Kimogila Town

Kimogila Town, situated on the planet Lok, was once a bustling city that was ultimately deserted.

History

This once-inhabited city met its downfall when it was overrun by enormous Kimogilas. This invasion compelled its residents to abandon their homes, leaving the city's infrastructure to decay. During the era of the Galactic Civil War, numerous criminals exploited the city's abandonment by fraudulently selling plots of land, falsely advertising them as prime real estate. Unsuspecting buyers who journeyed to the town were met with a grim fate, becoming prey for packs of Kimogilas. The spy Talia v'laenya once received information about Kimogila Town from a spacer she encountered in Nym's Stronghold.

Following the Battle of Yavin, the abandoned town became a battleground between Imperial and Rebel forces. In the year 1 ABY, a Rebel operative assassinated the bounty hunter Vekis Kiyanu within Kimogila Town, motivated by a personal vendetta against Nien Nunb.

Also in 1 ABY, Kimogila Town served as the venue for a meeting arranged to facilitate peace talks between the Sulfur Lake Pirates and Nym's Lok Revenants.
