Talia v'laenya was a Bothan female intelligence operative active in the era of the Galactic Civil War. In the initial stages of that war, she became affiliated with the Alliance to Restore the Republic, serving as an agent within the Alliance Spy Network. Before the Battle of Yavin, she departed from the Alliance organization, citing "unresolved differences" as the reason. By 1 ABY, she had established operations at Nym's Stronghold situated on the planet Lok. At that location, she met a spacer, giving them details regarding Kimogila Town and the location of the Canyon Corsair's Stronghold.
Within the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, Talia v'laenya appeared as a non-player character. This game, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game, was created by Sony Online Entertainment and distributed by LucasArts. The game ceased operations on December 15, 2011. Her inclusion in the game occurred with the "Publish 5" update, which went live on December 16, 2003.
