Kirla Shorg held a position within the Thaereian military and was stationed in the Cularin system. Shorg, along with fellow soldier Joq Landhauler and under the command of Teck Randon, was a member of a Thaereian unit attempting to retrieve the head of L80-RC from Ginder, the Bimm. Even though they were wearing gray miner's jumpsuits instead of standard issue uniforms, they made no attempt to conceal their military discipline. The three of them attempted to bully a group of freelancers who were assisting Ginder into surrendering the droid head, but the intervention of a criminal organization resulted in a three-way conflict, ultimately leaving the freelancers in control of the head.
