Kooba was a farmer of the male human variety. He made his home on the planet of Banchii, located in the Outer Rim Territories, during the time known as the High Republic Era. Prior to his arrival on Banchii, he received a vessel filled with seeds that came from the Drengir, a species known for being hostile, sentient, and consisting of carnivorous plants. These Drengir seeds ultimately germinated and launched an attack on Banchii, which resulted in Kooba's death as he was transformed into wood.
