"Kowakian Monkey-Lizards" represents episode number seven of the online series known as Star Wars Galaxy of Creatures. This particular installment became available on StarWarsKids.com on November 4, 2021. It was launched concurrently with the series' eighth episode, "Mynocks."
SF-R3, also known as ("Aree"), and CAM journey to the planet Kowak, which serves as the native planet for the impish Kowakian monkey-lizards. Upon arrival, the Kowakian monkey-lizards proceed to dismantle Aree's spacecraft. Aree then tries to befriend the monkey-lizards by offering them delicious fruit from the provisions onboard his ship. However, the creatures respond by throwing the fruit back at Aree and swarming the droid, which triggers his defensive system.
Subsequently, he throws fruit in the direction of the monkey-lizards. One of the fruits makes contact with a monkey-lizard, who then becomes the subject of laughter from the other monkey-lizards. By accident, Aree earns the respect of the Kowakian monkey-lizards, and in turn, they fix his spacecraft. Aree comes to the conclusion that the most effective way to connect with them is through their sense of humor but advises caution to others. As Aree and CAM leave, it is shown that a group of monkey-lizards have taken a hammer. Aree then shares some interesting facts, including the information that Kowakian monkey-lizards are smart reptiles capable of imitating nearly any language.
