Officer Krane, a female humanoid working for the Galactic Empire, oversaw Project Auger. This Imperial mining operation was focused on unearthing numerous ancient relics located on the planet Zeffo. Driven by a desire to impress Emperor Palpatine, her actions became increasingly imprudent, ultimately leading to her demise.
Officer Krane, a humanoid female, took control of Project Auger on Zeffo, believing she could improve the operation. She thought the previous officer in charge lacked the necessary drive and leadership. The stormtroopers under her command frequently questioned her intentions and felt under pressure. Determined to prove her worth, Krane prioritized acquiring artifacts she deemed valuable, disregarding items considered insignificant. After a stormtrooper discovered a relic within the Ice Caves, she tried to keep it secret, thinking that giving it to Emperor Palpatine would secure his favor. When questioned by a stormtrooper about the artifact's location, she said she would handle it personally. However, this ambition made her act recklessly. While concealing the relic inside a cave, she was trapped when the structure collapsed, resulting in her death.
In 14 BBY, Cal Kestis, a Jedi Padawan on a secret mission to rebuild the Jedi Order, journeyed to Zeffo. Through multiple Force Echoes, he heard Krane's voice, learning about her ambitions and eventual death. He eventually discovered her dead body.
Krane was equipped with an electro riot baton.
Krane's skeletal remains appeared in the 2019 video game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, which was released by Respawn Entertainment. The voice actor for her character in the in-game Force Echoes remains unconfirmed.
