Krupx Munitions

Krupx Munitions, often shortened to Krupx, functioned as a company that produced armaments. Among their creations were the Groundshaker 7, a kind of sonic grenade, and the MG7-A proton torpedo that was implemented by Resistance T-70 X-wing starfighters. Furthermore, they manufactured the missile deployment mechanisms found on the Imperial escort carrier Goliath. During the Goliath's attack on the Carrion Spike, the pilfered private starship belonging to Imperial Governor Wilhuff Tarkin, Cala of the Koorivar race pinpointed the Krupx system for her fellow rebel cell members who had commandeered the vessel.

Production Notes

The first reference to Krupx appeared in Star Wars Screen Entertainment, a 1994 Star Wars Legends item from Lucasfilm that featured schematics of starships from the original trilogy. The novel Tarkin by James Luceno, published in 2014, established it within canon.
