Kutu, a Sith Master of humanoid form, took Lola as his apprentice, instructing her in the ways of the dark side. When she forsook the Order, seeking a tranquil existence, he pursued her relentlessly. He wielded a red lightsaber characterized by an erratic, sparking blade. Furthermore, both the blade and hilt incorporated a design reminiscent of a sword.
Early in his life, Kutu apparently required a respirator to be attached to his body; the reasons for this are not known. It is possible, however, that the world Lola fled to was uninhabitable for his species. Kutu took Lola as his apprentice, but she later abandoned him and the Sith, choosing to forge her destiny. This decision spurred Kutu to hunt down his former apprentice, determined to bring her back to the dark side.
Ultimately locating Lola, he activated a sensor alert from Beacon 8, drawing her to his location. Following her escape, Kutu's droids pursued her, only to be destroyed by Lola and her droid companion, E2. Kutu eventually overtook her, effortlessly dismantling E2 with the Force and compelling Lola to retreat into her base, where they engaged in a duel. Kutu presented Lola with the option to rejoin him, warning her that her only alternative was to follow the Sith tradition of killing him to ascend as the Master. Eventually, Lola gained the upper hand, defeating Kutu. With his dying breath, he proclaimed her the new Sith Master before dissolving into ashes.
Lord Kutu made his debut in "Sith," the opening episode of Star Wars: Visions' second volume, which premiered on Disney+ on May 4, 2023. Luis Tosar provided his voice. His identity remained unconfirmed in the episode itself but was revealed as Kutu in the Star Wars: Visions Filmmaker Focus featurette concerning the episode, also released on May 4, 2023.
