Haruuni Lake was a body of water situated at a high elevation within the mountainous regions of the world of Haruun Kal. Because of the high altitude, the aquatic life living there almost seemed to float out of the dark water when Haruun Kal's local Azita Cruuz went angling by herself from the rocky banks of Haruuni Lake during her youth. Cruuz, now an adult, spoke of her fishing experiences at the lake to Jedi Mace Windu when they encountered each other on the satellite Ro Mira around 48 years BBY.
A flashback featuring Lake Haruuni was shown in the third edition of the Star Wars: Mace Windu comic miniseries from 2024. Marc Bernardin wrote the issue, Georges Jeanty provided the artwork, and Marvel released it on April 17th of that year.
