Lazu Lirona operated as a smuggler throughout the conflict, known as the war, between the First Order and the Resistance. She used to be a track star on Gavriza, until she contracted pneumogray, a disease that forced her to end her athletic pursuits. Lirona established a courier service, but later transitioned to smuggling seemingly harmless goods impacted by tariff regulations or licensing requirements. In 35 ABY, Lirona fought in the Battle of Exegol, as a member of the fleet assembled by the Millennium Falcon from the planets of the Core Worlds. Following the battle, she journeyed to the Resistance base situated on the lunar surface of Ajan Kloss, where she took part in the victory festivities.
The character of Lazu Lirona was played by Charlotte Louise in Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker, a sequel trilogy movie released in 2019.
