Lercer Gaia

Lercer Gaia was a male Bothan intelligence operative active during the era of the Galactic Civil War; his gender was male.

Biography

Subsequent to the Battle of Yavin, Lercer Gaia, a Bothan involved in espionage, took up residence on Tansarii Point Station, situated within the Bright Jewel system. Lercer was integrated into a wider network of spies that included Kaesii DuPree and Sarlis Beni who were operating on Tatooine, in addition to his activities on Tansarii Point Station.

In the year 1 ABY, Lercer Gaia took on the responsibility of instructing a spacer, newly arrived on Tansarii Point Station alongside Han Solo, who aspired to become a spy. During this period, Gaia sought to uncover details about the conflict between the Car'das, who held control over Tansarii Point Station, and the Rak'qua inhabiting the nearby Station Gamma. Lercer gave his trainee spy their first assignment: to hack into the highly secured files located within the Systems Data Control terminal of Tansarii Point Station. The spacer was successful and discovered evidence indicating that a local arms dealer had been offering bribes to individuals on both stations with the goal of instigating a war to increase weapon sales. Subsequently, Gaia sent the spy to Station Gamma to gather more evidence. Consequently, the spacer successfully infiltrated the Rak'qua space station and located data that confirmed the initial information. The Bothan spy ultimately provided this information to Officer Antom Moria, who then used it to de-escalate the conflict.

Following these events, the spacer departed from Tansarii Point Station and journeyed to Tatooine. There, Lercer Gaia formally introduced the spacer to Kaesii DuPree and Sarlis Beni, his fellow spies. The spacer then went on to complete a number of assignments for both Kaesii and Sarlis.
