Liquor

Liquor was a form of alcoholic beverage produced using a combination of pressed, fermented, and mixed components. During the Age of the Empire, Okadiah Garson, a bartender and miner, ran a well-known cantina in Gorse City named the Asteroid Belt, which was famous for its large supply of liquor. It was common knowledge that Garson would host a liquor celebration for his patrons each time a fellow miner on Cynda passed away. The expression "hold one's liquor" indicated the ability to withstand or display minimal effects of drunkenness. Examples of liquor included sunfruit liquor, Lothalian currant wine, tsiraki, and bitterfruit liquor. Brandy was also considered a type of liquor.

Behind the scenes

In the real world, the term "liquor" denotes alcoholic drinks created via distillation (like brandy or whiskey), differentiating them from fermented drinks like wine or beer.
