Lothalian currant wine was a sparkling wine originating from the planet Lothal, distinguished by its incredibly deep purple hue, bordering on black. It was a type of liquor. Upon her elevation to the rank of Admiral, the human Imperial officer Rae Sloane received a ceremonial bottle of Lothalian currant wine. For numerous years, she refrained from consuming it. However, sometime after the Battle of Endor, in a fit of anger, she shattered the bottle aboard the Star Destroyer Vigilance. This outburst occurred after her subordinate, Nils Tothwin, informed her that an unknown vessel had bypassed her ship and landed on the surface of Akiva. As a pool of wine spread around the broken glass, Tothwin, visibly anxious, carefully maneuvered around it while receiving additional instructions from Sloane.
