Back in 22 BBY, the Outlander Club, a nightclub on the planet of Coruscant, served tsiraki at its bar. During a celebration in 4 ABY for the upcoming wedding of smuggler Han Solo and Princess Leia Organa, Sakas, a Mikkian rebel Pathfinder, downed a large mug of tsiraki in Bright Tree Village located on the moon of Endor. General Lando Calrissian of the Rebellion was impressed by her ability to quickly consume the beverage and eagerly refill her mug. Later that same evening, Solo observed an Ewok holding a mug of tsiraki and promptly took it from him. The Ewok protested this action, reclaiming his mug and spilling a significant portion of his drink in the process. After tasting the tsiraki, the Ewok expressed his disgust and tried to rid his tongue of the taste using his paws.

Tsiraki made its debut in Aftermath: Life Debt, a canon novel from 2016 penned by Chuck Wendig, serving as the second book in the Star Wars: The Aftermath Trilogy.
