Machook was an Ewok with dark fur who lived on Endor circa 4 ABY. Following the Battle of Endor, Machook took part in the short-lived dispute between the Ewoks and their Rebellion comrades, the Lahsbees; this conflict was started by the Hiromi named Hirog.
Machook's name was the same as that of a hero from Ewok stories, who was believed to have constructed the first tree settlement on Endor.
In 2008, Machook was initially given a Hasbro action figure, included in an Ewok three-pack with Kettch and Keoulkeech. The packaging of this set suggests that an Ewok named Machook was involved in the post-Battle of Endor conflict with the Lahsbees, as depicted in Marvel Comics' Star Wars 94. However, he wasn't specified as any particular character from the comic. The San Diego Comic Con (SDCC) 2008: Hasbro Star Wars presentation, which revealed upcoming figures, originally stated that Machook was the light-furred Ewok with a purple hood. However, the Machook figure that was eventually released was the dark-furred Ewok wearing a red hood, who had originally been identified as Keoulkeech.
