Mahtee Dunn was a Rodian woman residing on Rodia alongside her child, Wee Dunn, during the period of the Clone Wars. Her son possessed the ability to use the Force, and it was planned that he would join the ranks of the Jedi Order upon reaching maturity. Following the theft of a Jedi holocron from the Jedi Temple, which contained a list of Force-sensitive younglings, by the bounty hunter known as Cad Bane, her son attracted the attention of the Sith Lord Darth Sidious. Sidious dispatched Bane to Rodia with the objective to acquire Dunn's son, with the intention of incorporating him into a legion of dark side warriors designed to eliminate the Jedi. Assuming the guise of a Jedi, Bane journeyed to Rodia and, through hypnosis, persuaded Dunn to surrender her son to him. Subsequently, when the Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi arrived at her residence in search of Bane, she understood her error upon witnessing Bane's departure from the planet. Ultimately, her son was saved by Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker along with his padawan Ahsoka Tano.
