Wee Dunn was a young Rodian male, a resident of Rodia, who lived with his mother, Mahtee Dunn, during the period of the Clone Wars. It was discovered early in his life that he possessed Force-sensitivity, marking him as a future member of the Jedi Order when he reached the appropriate age. His name, along with the names of other children sensitive to the Force throughout the galaxy, was recorded on a list contained within a Jedi holocron, an information storage artifact located in the Jedi Archives at the Jedi Temple. This holocron was stolen from the Jedi Temple by a bounty hunter known as Cad Bane, acting under the orders of the Sith Lord Darth Sidious. Subsequently, Dunn became a part of a Sith scheme devised by Sidious with the intention to create an army of warriors empowered by the dark side to overthrow the Jedi. After the holocron was retrieved, Sidious compensated Bane to abduct Dunn along with three additional Force-sensitive children, transporting them to Mustafar for a slave-conditioning process. Bane, disguised as a Jedi, journeyed to Rodia and successfully persuaded Dunn's mother to relinquish her child, falsely assuring Mahtee that the Jedi would not take him for several more years. Through hypnotism, Bane manipulated Mahtee into handing over her child, and he transported Dunn to Mustafar along with one other child. However, before the conditioning procedure could be carried out, Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker and his padawan Ahsoka Tano rescued the children.
