Malangsha were a sentient species indigenous to the world of Langsha-Raang. One individual of this species was Varish.
The Malangsha made their debut, though without being named, in "The Growing Green Danger." This was the initial segment of the tenth installment of the inaugural season of Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures, an animated series broadcast on Disney+ and Disney Junior, on August 2, 2023. Their identification as a species occurred later in the 2024 reference book Star Wars Encyclopedia: The Comprehensive Guide to the Star Wars Galaxy, published by Dorling Kindersley and written by Dan Brooks, Megan Crouse, Amy Richau, Amy Ratcliffe, Brandon Wainerdi, Dan Zehr, and Kelly Knox. Betsy Bauer is credited with the species' design.
