Varish

Varish, or Ms. Varish as her students called her, was a Malangsha of the female persuasion. She served as a gardening teacher for Jedi Initiates on the planet Langsha-Raang in the High Republic Era. During a lesson on the garden planet, she taught Jedi Initiates Kai Brightstar, Lys Solay, and Nubs. Nubs' attentiveness with a Vreenak Bloom impressed Varish, so she asked him to come to the front of the class to demonstrate how important it is to observe plants so you can understand what they need. As a thank you for participating, she gave Nubs a small bag of seeds that would flourish on the planet Tenoo, the location of the Jedi Initiates' base. Unbeknownst to her, a seed from a grumble vine was accidentally mixed into the bag during the demonstration and transported back to Tenoo. After the grumble vine experienced rapid, dangerous growth, Nubs applied the lesson Ms. Varish had taught him to give the grumble vine the proper amount of shade. Afterwards, the plant was returned to Varnish's garden, its rightful home. Despite feeling bad about the grumble vine seed contamination, Varish was filled with pride when she learned that Nubs had halted the grumble vine's destructive growth. The youngling was excited to show his teacher the flourishing plants that grew from the seeds she had given him.
