Margle was a member of the New Republic military, specifically a soldier within the Special Forces unit. This Gran warrior took part in the conflict known as the Battle of Jakku.
Margle, a Gran, served as a member of Dellalo Dayson's New Republic Special Forces squad. As the New Republic prepared for the Battle of Jakku, Dayson and her team prepared their UT-60D U-wing starfighter/support craft with necessary munitions. Jom Barell, a former commando and SpecForces operative who had fallen from grace, joined Margle and the team. Dayson permitted him to board their ship as a stowaway.
As the battle raged, Dayson's U-wing descended into the atmosphere of Jakku and became the target of an incoming missile. In a selfless act, Jom jumped from the transport, utilizing his jetpack to intercept the missile, resulting in his death but ensuring the survival of Margle and the other members of the crew.
