Meloque, a Ho'Din scientist of female gender, lived during the time of the Yuuzhan Vong War.
Following the Battle of Caluula, Meloque was part of a scientific team that requested permission from the Yuuzhan Vong to witness the Nocturne of the Winged-Stars, an uncommon spectacle that only happens once every three centuries. Surprisingly, the Yuuzhan Vong consented to their request. Nevertheless, Team Meloque consisted of Han Solo, Leia Organa Solo, Kyp Durron, Judder Page, and Wraw, who had traveled to Caluula with the intention of destroying the yammosk that had been embedded within the planet. As they made their way to the yammosk's location, Meloque conducted her studies, but she became concerned when she noticed that the winged-stars were not emerging from their cocoons and that a significant number of them were dying. However, when Wraw disclosed that Galactic Alliance Intelligence had introduced Alpha Red into Caluula's atmosphere, Meloque was the first to grasp the dreadful reality—Alpha Red had undergone a mutation and was the cause of the winged-stars' demise.
