Some time after the Battle of Yavin which took place in 0 BBY, Menchi Lerann took up residence in the city known as Kor Vella. Lerann, who had an addiction to ryll spice, served as an informant for the Corellian Security Force. In the year 1 ABY, Menchi aided a spacer working under Lieutenant Cope of CorSec by giving the location of his ryll providers, Jaylon Geissler and Vuul Sarlin.
Menchi Lerann was featured as a non-player character within the 2003 video game titled Star Wars Galaxies. This game, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game, was created by Sony Online Entertainment and distributed by LucasArts. The game was shut down on December 15, 2011. Menchi Lerann's introduction to the game occurred with the "Chapter 1: The Corellian Captives" update, which was released on June 8, 2006.
