Minn's mom, a Devaronian female, held the position of director of hospitality at the Canto Casino, located within the city of Canto Bight on the planet Cantonica. Following Kaljach Sonmi's victory in a duel against Orisha Okum, and a generous gratuity given to her daughter, she offered Kal the role of a floorwalker within the casino.
