In the year 43.5 ABY, Jedi Grand Master Luke Skywalker, accompanied by his son, Jedi Knight Ben Skywalker, set out on a mission to uncover the reasons behind the transformation of Jedi Knight Darth Caedus into a Sith Lord and his subsequent descent to the dark side of the Force. Their search ultimately led them to the Mind Walkers, whom they located at Sinkhole Station within the Maw. Luke and Ben journeyed beyond shadows alongside Mind Walkers Seek Ryontarr, Feryl, and Rhondi Tremaine, traversing the Lake of Apparitions in pursuit of a strange being. Their goal was to understand her motives, as she had been compelling Ryontarr and Feryl to delay Luke and prevent his return to his physical body. As they began their crossing of the lake, they witnessed the spirits of Anakin Solo, Mara Jade Skywalker, and Caedus within the Mirror of Remembrance, engaging in conversations with each of them.
