In the year 4 ABY, not long after the pivotal Battle of Endor, the Alliance of Free Planets launched a mission of aid to the world of Godo. The indigenous Godoans there were suffering from a devastating disease. Generals Han Solo and Lando Calrissian provided assistance to the Godoans in finding a cure for the affliction. However, Calrissian contracted the illness himself. The Godoans then denied him access to the sacred House of the Goddess, which housed a device capable of healing him. This decision led to a tense confrontation between the Alliance fleet and the Godoans. Solo issued a threat to attack the Godoan capital, which ultimately compelled the Godoans to permit Calrissian's treatment.
