Between the years of 3 ABY and 4 ABY, Doctor Chelli Lona Aphra, the unconventional archaeologist, and Just Lucky, the assassin, embarked on a mission. This endeavor led them to a Tagge Corporation warehouse located on Havel Prime. Their objective was to investigate if the prototype battle droids housed there were exhibiting the same operational issue as another battle droids. While battling the droids, which were under the influence of the Scourge corruption that was affecting droids throughout the galaxy, Aphra and Lucky observed them ceasing function. This led them to the conclusion that the droids were operating on reserve power, which accounted for their brief functionality before shutting down after a certain amount of time.
