Mission to Naga Sadow's tomb

Around 3643 BBY, a Sith apprentice received instructions to obtain an old chart from the Tomb of Naga Sadow. This task required them to first awaken a Dashade, held captive within the tomb, who would then offer assistance. The apprentice followed these instructions, overcoming the tomb's droid protectors and obliterating several ancient droids. After this, the apprentice freed the Dashade, discovering him to be the well-known Khem Val. Khem Val immediately launched an assault on the apprentice, but was defeated and vowed allegiance to the victor. Now, accompanied by the Dashade, the apprentice successfully acquired the ancient map, which ultimately led to their apprenticeship under Lord Zash.

Prelude

Around 3643 BBY, Overseer Harkun charged one of his apprentices with a mission: to delve into the Tomb of Naga Sadow and secure an ancient map for Lord Zash. To reach the map's location, the apprentice's first step was to awaken an ancient being known as the Dashade. This Dashade was meant to then guide them to the Map.

The mission

Tulak Hord's map

Upon entering the tomb, the apprentice was immediately confronted by numerous ancient droids, positioned there by Naga Sadow himself to safeguard the tomb's secrets. The apprentice then located the rods necessary for the mechanism that would release the Dashade. Despite being scattered throughout the tomb, the apprentice successfully gathered these rods and, with the aid of some Force lightning, activated the mechanism, thus freeing the Dashade.

The Apprentice then spoke with the Dashade, discovering his identity as the famous Khem Val, an assassin resistant to Force abilities who had served the Dark Lord Tulak Hord. Khem Val then attacked the apprentice but was defeated. Adhering to his own code, he determined to serve the one who had overcome him, becoming the apprentice's ally and leading them to the Ancient map. After destroying even more droids, Khem Val and the Apprentice came to a debris wall defeating a savage beast called Terentatek who was guarding the way to the ancient Map. The Apprentice then claimed the Ancient Map and exited the tomb, eliminating rival apprentices along the way.

Aftermath

Subsequently, the apprentice presented the map to Harkun, who then gave it to the apprentice's rival, hoping Zash would believe that Ffon, not the Apprentice, had retrieved the map. However, Lord Zash saw through the deception, prompting Ffon to confess, and Zash executed him as a result. Zash then scolded Harkun for his pathetic attempts to provide her with such an apprentice. She instead chose the Apprentice as her own, promoting them to Sith apprentice.
