Before the events of the Liberation of Lothal but within the era of the Galactic Civil War, Wildfire, formerly a clone trooper but now aligned with the Alliance to Restore the Republic, was given a mission: to secure crucial intelligence from Joopa Base situated on the planet Seelos. Joopa Base, an All Terrain Armored Transport seized from the Galactic Empire, was under the control of Wildfire's previous commanding officer, Wolffe, alongside his comrades Rex and Gregor, following the Assault on Seelos.
The operation commenced with a rebel shuttle, carrying at least Wildfire, touching down on top of an Imperial All Terrain Armored Transport, which Wildfire gained entry to via its upper escape hatch. Once inside, he encountered a full squad of troopers, leading to a battle. This confrontation involved rebel-controlled AT-ATs against Imperial AT-ATs, concluding with either the capture or annihilation of all deployed Imperial walkers. With the destruction of the final Imperial walker, Wolffe transmitted the acquired intelligence to the rebels via a secure, encrypted channel.
Tyrants of Lothal presents two possible conclusions to the Seelos mission: one for a rebel victory and another for a rebel defeat. In the defeat scenario, players witness the destruction of Wolffe and Gregor's AT-AT. However, the AT-AT appears to be in working order in the Star Wars Rebels episode "A Fool's Hope," which initiated the liberation of Lothal event that drove the Empire from the planet Lothal. Given that Tyrants of Lothal is set prior to this liberation, the defeat outcome cannot be considered canonical.
