The New Jedi Order dispatched a team on a Mission to the Reo system. The purpose of this mission was to gather intelligence about Abeloth from the Killik hive located within the system. The Jedi Knights selected for this task were Raynar Thul, Tekli, and Lowbacca.
The Jedi team located the Thuruht hive and managed to obtain the required information with the help of the Thuruht Queen. This was contingent on Raynar Thul consenting to become a Joiner for the hive, in preparation for what they termed "The end of days." Tekli and Lowbacca then journeyed back to Coruscant to disseminate the information they had acquired to the Jedi Council and Club Bwua'tu, knowledge that would prove crucial in Luke Skywalker's eventual triumph over Abeloth.
