Mumble's Turnaround, a hyperspace route situated in the Outer Rim Territories, began its course at the planet Tatooine. It then traversed the planets Ryloth and Seylott before reaching its endpoint at the planet Roon. Functioning as a connection point, Ryloth linked the Turnaround with the Corellian Run hyperspace lane. Furthermore, this route shared segments with the Spice Triangle, a network of trade routes that connected Roon, Tatooine, and Ryloth. Maz Kanata, the one-time pirate queen, identified Mumble's Turnaround on a map as a legitimate route for smugglers (in contrast to the official routes). This map was featured in the book that would later be known as the Smuggler's Guide, which she authored.
The reference book Star Wars: Smuggler's Guide, penned by Daniel Wallace and published in 2018, contained the inaugural mention of Mumble's Turnaround.
