Seeking this treasure, Cikatro Vizago, along with Azmorigan and Lando Calrissian, journeyed to this world, only to encounter Black Sun enforcers who had established dominance over Seylott. The spice known as Andris was extracted from its mines. During the time of the High Republic Era, Vecari trees originating from Seylott were shipped to Coruscant.
The initial mention of Seylott within the current Star Wars canon occurred in Star Wars: Smuggler's Guide, a reference work authored by Daniel Wallace and made available to the public in 2018. Within the narrative framework of Star Wars Legends, Seylott made its debut in the 2002 comic titled Star Wars: Jango Fett.
