The Nelori Marauders represented a highly structured pirate organization. Their activities occurred during the era of the Galactic Republic, roughly four millennia before the pivotal Battle of Yavin.
Initially, the Marauders established their headquarters on the planet of Voon. Through subsequent military actions, they ruthlessly conquered the Hyabb-Twith Corridor. After securing control over the crucial shipping routes linking adjacent planets, the Nelori Marauders proceeded to occupy both Hyabb and Twith. Following these successful occupations, the Marauders created a significant operational base on the planet Dachat. This base allowed them to easily target any vessels attempting transit through the Hyabb-Twith Corridor, which included ships belonging to the Republic. This bold action compelled the Senate of the Old Republic to request intervention from the Jedi Council, aiming to halt the destruction caused by the Nelori Marauders.
The Council responded by deploying several teams of Jedi Knights, including Arca Jeth, with the mission of expelling the Nelori Marauders from the Hyabb-Twith Corridor. In the ensuing conflict, known as the Hyabb-Twith Campaigns, the Jedi engaged the Nelori Marauders in battle. Over several years, the Jedi gradually forced the Marauders to abandon many of their established strongholds within the Hyabb-Twith Corridor. Despite these successes, the campaign resulted in the loss of numerous Jedi lives, and the ongoing guerrilla warfare suggested a prolonged conflict lasting several more months. It was during this period that Arca Jeth discovered the primary base of the Nelori Marauders on Voon. Jeth assembled a substantial force of Jedi under his command and launched an assault on the Marauders' stronghold on Voon. Although the Marauders anticipated the Jedi's attack and set up an ambush, they were significantly overpowered by the combined strength of the Force and were forced to retreat from their main base into the surrounding territory. Following this, a small Jedi detachment was stationed on Dachat, while Arca Jeth departed to gather more Jedi to bolster his forces. Jeth quickly returned to the Hyabb-Twith Corridor with the reinforcements. Together, they relentlessly pursued the remaining Marauders, definitively eliminating the remaining Nelori threat.
