The night market existed at Arveesh Station. During 3 ABY, Just Lucky, an assassin, was collaborating with Kharrek, a bounty hunter, to capture Doctor Chelli Lona Aphra, a renegade archaeologist. Lucky observed Aphra to the south of the night market. After advising Kharrek of Aphra's location, Lucky opened fire, obliterating the speeder bike of the archaeologist, which led to the duo successfully apprehending her.
The 2020 comic series Star Wars: Doctor Aphra featured the night market in flashback sequences in its sixth issue. Marvel Comics released the issue, penned by Alyssa Wong, on November 25, 2020.
