Nikil Nobil was a Jedi Master of the Thisspiasian species (a male), who held a position on the Jedi High Council and served the Jedi Order during the Cold War. This conflict occurred between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. During 3643 BBY, Nobil used a holoprojector to communicate with Grand Master Satele Shan and her Padawan, Shigar Konshi, informing them of the Council's determination that Konshi was not ready for the Jedi Trials. When asked for clarification, Nobil explained to Konshi that he lacked the necessary self-discipline, pointing to his recent remarks directed at Senator Vuub as evidence.
The character of Nikil Nobil first appeared in The Old Republic: Fatal Alliance, a novel authored by Sean Williams in 2010. This book served as a promotional tie-in to Star Wars: The Old Republic, a video game developed by BioWare and released in 2011. Similar to numerous other characters introduced in the novel, which was composed in the early stages of the game's creation, Nobil has not been mentioned in other aspects of the overall game project.
