The Nova Garon system represented a specific system within the galaxy. A dense collection of asteroids resided within this system, housing the II-0810 Satellite Station, a secret listening post managed by the Imperial Security Bureau. During 9 BBY, the Stinger Mantis crew, spearheaded by Jedi Knight Cal Kestis, breached the satellite station while attempting to locate ISB operative and one-time Jedi Bode Akuna. The station became the location where the siblings Fenn and Masi Finau, along with their droid KLE-0, met their ends; they were bounty hunters working for the Haxion Brood criminal organization. These hunters gained access to the station, only to be eliminated by Cal Kestis, who was actively seeking bounty hunters keen on claiming the bounty the Haxion Brood had placed on him.
