Ocsin (planet)

Ocsin, found in the Corporate Sector of the Outer Rim Territories', was a planet known for its bleak and tempestuous nature. This world, home to the sentient Ocsin species and their colony, resided in the Ocsin system. Its location was strategically important, sitting at the junction where the Authority Guardian Corridor hyperlane met the Tertiary Etti Route, linking it to systems like Fether and Kamar as well as Farana and Gaurick.

A number of years leading up to the Battle of Yavin, Ocsin, then part of the Farana sector, agreed to be annexed by the Corporate Sector Authority. The agreement stipulated that the Ocsin would supply the Authority with navigational data of Wild Space gathered by their scouts. Following this, while CSA infochants frequently visited the planet to gather intelligence on trade routes, the Authority failed to deliver the promised technological assistance to Ocsin.
