Odra

Odra, often referred to as the Duchess of Sleet, was an evil Frost Sprite residing on the Forest Moon of Endor. She became the paramour of the Snow King, and she iced over his soul, turning him into a selfish tyrant. In the year 3 ABY, she goaded the Snow King into pilfering the seasonal rod, a powerful instrument used to command the weather. The Snow King then employed the rod to encase in ice the satellite, and with the power it granted her, Odra schemed to seize the Sunstar from the Ewoks of Bright Tree Village.

The Snow King's Iceheads took the Ewok Royalty Kneesaa a Jari Kintaka as a captive and brought her to the Snow Palace. Odra intended to exchange Kintaka for the Sunstar, but Kintaka's companions arrived to liberate her. The Ewoks reclaimed the seasonal rod and warmed the Snow King's frozen soul, causing Odra to dissolve. Vanquished, Odra fled in a rage, and the Snow King reverted Endor to its summertime conditions.

Biography

Frozen heart

Odra, the Countess of Freezing Rain, was a female Frost Sprite who made her home on the Forest Moon of Endor. She entered into a romantic relationship with the Snow King—one of the four beings responsible for controlling Endor's seasons—and resided with him within the Snow Palace.

Odra and the Snow King celebrate their success.

In 3 ABY, during Endor's summertime conditions, Odra froze the Snow King's soul, transforming him into a selfish and cruel individual. Under Odra's sway, the monarch dispatched Iceheads to snatch the seasonal rod from his sibling, the Sun King. Odra and the Snow King utilized the powerful instrument to freeze the moon, blanketing its surface in snow, and she erupted in gleeful laughter. Odra praised the Snow King for freezing Endor, but he started to have second thoughts about their actions. Odra refroze his soul and instructed him to freeze the Ewoks of Bright Tree Village and confiscate their potent Sunstar.

The Leaf Queen, a sister of the Snow King, cautioned the Ewoks and directed them to convene with her at the Sun King's palace. As four Ewoks—Royalty Kneesaa a Jari Kintaka, Latara, Teebo, and Wicket Wystri Warrick—made their way to the palace, Odra and the Snow King observed them through a looking glass. Presuming that the four Ewoks were carrying the Sunstar, Odra devised a plan to intercept them before they could reach the Sun King. The Snow King commanded the Iceheads to seize the Ewoks and bring them to the Snow Palace.

An icy blast

The Iceheads captured Kintaka as a captive but failed to apprehend the others. The Snow King encased Kintaka in a block of solid ice, and Odra commended the king's ingenuity, declaring that they could trade the Ewok royalty for the Sunstar. Odra fantasized about the potential achievements she could accomplish with the Sunstar's power, considering crafting a pendant or obliterating a world. Her daydream was disrupted by the other three Ewoks, who had arrived at the Snow Palace to free Kintaka. The Ewoks had disguised themselves as "frozen-treat vendors," and Odra had a faint recollection of them. However, the Snow King suspected no deception, and he dropped the seasonal rod to consume one of the delicacies. The Ewok Teebo attempted to seize the seasonal rod but instead picked up an Icehead mace. With the Ewoks' true identities exposed, Odra burst into laughter, and the Snow King retrieved the rod.

Odra is defeated by the Ewoks.

Odra ordered the Snow King to freeze the Ewoks, and they dispersed as he discharged icy energy from the rod. The Iceheads pursued Teebo and Warrick, and Odra commenced chasing Latara. One of the Iceheads collided with Odra, and both tumbled to the ground. Shortly thereafter, Teebo seized the rod from the Snow King and erratically discharged its seasonal energy. One blast struck Odra, melting her membranous head covering, revealing her bald head. Odra and the Snow King demanded that Teebo return the rod, but Warrick rushed to Teebo's assistance. Warrick grabbed the rod and fired it at the Snow King, warming the king's icy soul and causing Odra to dissolve. The Frost Sprite screamed in defeat and diminished to a minuscule size compared to her original form. Once her transformation was complete, she shrieked defiantly and scurried out of the Snow Palace, vowing to return. With Odra gone, the Snow King restored Endor to its summertime conditions and returned the rod to the Sun King.

Personality and traits

Odra was a Frost Sprite with aquamarine skin and yellow orbs. Alluring and wicked, Odra froze the soul of the Snow King and manipulated him to pilfer the seasonal rod. During Odra's reign alongside the Snow King, she expressed her fondness for the Iceheads' method of transportation. When Odra was struck by the seasonal rod's power, she dissolved, shrank to a tiny scale, and screamed in defiance. According to the Sun King, Odra was a "genuinely cold individual." She yearned to possess the Sunstar and contemplated utilizing it to craft a pendant or obliterate a world.
