The Onderon power generator provided electricity to the city of Iziz, which is the capital of Onderon. It accomplished this by distributing power to numerous smaller generators throughout the city. These smaller generators were dependent on the main unit; if the primary generator ceased to function, they would also stop working. During the events of the Onderonian Civil War, the power generator became a target of the Onderon rebels, a group that included figures such as Saw Gerrera, Steela Gerrera, Lux Bonteri, and the Jedi Padawan Ahsoka Tano.
