Orchis, situated within grid square N-8 of the Standard Galactic Grid, was a planet found in both the Inner Rim and the New Territories. The map showing Orchis's position was featured in Eloc Throno's Traveler's Guide to Batuu, a book that provided information about the world of Batuu; Throno was a historian. The moon Orchis 2, the location of the Graf Archive, shared its designation with this planet.
The reference book Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge: Traveler's Guide to Batuu, penned by Cole Horton, made mention of Orchis in 2020.
