Ord Marsax, a planet situated in the Belderone sector of the Outer Rim Territories, was a world. During the Pius Dea Era, this planet served as a Galactic Republic outpost. According to a tale recounted by Arack Dostryt, a member of the Bounty Hunters' Guild, Doctor Nuvo Vindi launched gas assaults on all bounty posting agency locations on Ord Marsax many Millennia afterwards.
Found within the Ord Marsax system, Ord Marsax was a terrestrial world. This system was located within the Belderone sector, which itself was situated in the Trans-Hydian region of the Outer Rim Territories.

During the Pius Dea Era, a time span that stretched from roughly 12,000 BBY to 11,000 BBY, Ord Marsax functioned as an outpost, specifically an Ordnance/Regional Depot, for the Galactic Republic. Being outside the Republic's boundaries, Ord Marsax served as a launchpad when the Republic initiated the Crusade of the Wilds in 11,791 BBY against various alien species in Wild Space; Republic forces advanced from Ord Marsax into adjacent space regions.
In a section of the Bounty Hunters Guild Handbook, published sometime between 19 BBY and 0 BBY, Arack Dostryt, the Bounty Hunters' Guild's Director of Recruiting, mentioned a story about Doctor Nuvo Vindi, a researcher active in the Clone Wars. The narrative suggested that after the Republic increased the bounty on Vindi to 250,000 credits, he launched gas attacks targeting each bounty posting agency on Ord Marsax.
Jason Fry and Paul R. Urquhart introduced Ord Marsax in their 2012 reference book, The Essential Guide to Warfare. The StarWars.com Online Companion for the 2009 reference book, The Essential Atlas, subsequently positioned the Ord Marsax system, and consequently the planet itself, within grid square R-6.
