The "Jedi betrayal" themed expansion, known as Order 66 (O66), for the Star Wars PocketModel TCG (Trading Card Game) was launched on March the 5th in the year 2008. This release brought forth fresh ground and air units, including the AT-OT alongside Republic and Droid Gunships, and introduced updated rules governing the use of discard objectives. Comprising 60 cards and 18 units, this expansion marked the inception of a series of smaller releases throughout 2008.
Products associated with this expansion featured a starter set called the Elite Assault Theme Deck (EA), which presented a pre-set 30-card deck focused on the events surrounding Supreme Chancellor Palpatine's issuance of Order 66, and a set of units including two pre-constructed Jedi Starfighter PocketModels, priced at $19.99 (MSRP). Each Order 66 expansion pack, with an MSRP of $4.99, included 2 styrene cards (containing 4-8 PocketModels), 6 regular cards, 2 black micro dice, and an instruction sheet.

Beyond the units within this collection, a supplementary oversize unit, identified as a Mega Model, was presented as an award during April of 2009 for one of the tournaments arranged that month. It is a replication of a unit sharing the same designation from the collection (possessing identical statistics and markings), yet imprinted on a 1/4" styrene sheet. While standing taller than a 12 fl. oz. (355 mL) aluminum can by a third, the unit is deemed permissible for competitive play and can be utilized in both games and tournaments.
